The first IWI ZION-25 rifles in Europe have arrived in Poland.
The ZION family has just grown — quite literally.
The first European shipment of the new IWI ZION-25 rifles chambered in .308 Winchester has arrived in Poland.

The ZION-15 has become one of IWI’s most recognizable rifles on the Polish market. Many shooters already own one, and the platform is a familiar sight at ranges, training events and competitions across the country.
Its appeal has always been straightforward: a proven AR platform, a sensible factory configuration and excellent value for money.
Until now, however, the ZION lineup was missing a larger-frame rifle in a more powerful caliber.
IWI US has now filled that gap with the ZION-25 — and the first rifles intended for the European market are already here.
Two .308 Winchester configurations
The first shipment includes two versions:
- ZION-25 16″ Carbine – shorter, lighter and designed as a versatile all-purpose .308,
- ZION-25 18″ DMR – optimized for greater stability and precision at medium and longer ranges.
Both rifles are built around the large-frame AR / SR-25 platform and come factory-equipped with features that would often be considered upgrades on comparable rifles.
These include nitrided 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium barrels with a 1:10″ twist rate, adjustable gas blocks, Timney two-stage triggers and free-float handguards combining M-LOK compatibility with an integrated ARCA interface.
B5 Systems stocks and pistol grips complete the setup, while magazine compatibility follows the widely adopted Magpul PMAG LR/SR standard.
A bigger ZION. The same idea.
The ZION-25 is more than simply a scaled-up ZION-15.
What carries over is the philosophy behind it: the rifle should arrive properly configured from the factory and be ready to use without immediately replacing the trigger, handguard or gas system.
The 16″ Carbine is the more compact and versatile of the two, making it a natural choice for shooters looking for a practical general-purpose .308 platform.
The 18″ DMR offers a little more weight and stability, making it better suited to precision-focused setups, match ammunition and shooting from a bipod or tripod.
Where can you see the ZION-25?
Both versions are already available to see in person at our locations:
- Strefa Celu Warsaw – al. Waszyngtona 100A,
- CSJ Łomianki – ul. Pancerz 6.
We will also be bringing both ZION-25 configurations to TAC-ZONE, taking place on September 19–20, 2026, in Grodzisk Mazowiecki.
Visitors will be able to handle both rifles, compare their size, balance and factory configuration, and see for themselves how much difference there really is between the 16″ Carbine and the 18″ DMR.
A more detailed look at the ZION-25, including its design, components and the practical differences between both versions, will follow soon in a dedicated article on our blog.
