Initially, we managed the yacht rental business from a room in our family home, while SGiG operated from a small rented shop on Korytnicka Street 46 in Warsaw. However, as our trading operations expanded, the limited space of the shop and our family garage no longer sufficed. This prompted us to secure a new location in a commercial pavilion at Al. Waszyngtona 100A in Warsaw. Initially occupying one floor of approximately 170m², the additional space sparked new ideas. One of Maciek’s lifelong passions, alongside water sports, was sport shooting. However, restrictive firearms regulations in Poland made this pursuit difficult, if not impossible, for individuals. The 1999 Firearms and Ammunition Act transformed civilian firearm ownership regulations in Poland,  enabling Maciek to rekindle his passion and share it with his son, Adam. This led to the idea of dedicating part of the pavilion to a store specializing in firearms and militaria. After adapting the space, we embarked on the challenging process of obtaining our first firearms license, which was granted on March 30, 2016. This marked the official launch of the Target Zone, a cherished endeavor for Maciek and Adam, embodying our motto: “Our Company, Our Passion.”

The shop quickly became the centerpiece of our business.  As demand grew, the original space proved insufficient, prompting us to expand into SGiG’s area and gradually phase out SGiG as a standalone brand. However, SGiG remains part of our portfolio; its website, strefagig.pl, now redirects visitors to the Target Zone’s military gadget offerings.

Fully committing to the military direction also led us to suspend yacht rental operations under the Jammas Charter brand. While this chapter is currently on hold, we remain open to reviving it if we can align yacht rentals with our military-focused activities.☺

In July 2020, we expanded further, acquiring the ground floor of the pavilion at Waszyngtona,  increasing our space to 285m². This paved the way for a new opportunity: partnering with 5.11 International as a Premium Dealer. We allocated part of the ground floor to a store offering military and outdoor clothing and accessories from this global leader.

As we developed relationships with international firearm manufacturers and scaled up our import operations, we faced increasing warehousing and logistical challenges. For a while, we benefited from acquiring an office space at Zgierska 6/8 in Warsaw, which included a basement storage area. After adapting the basement to meet the requirements for a firearms storage facility and obtaining the necessary license for this location, we also established the company headquarters and the Board office there.
In our pursuit of a facility that could support our current storage and logistics requirements while also allowing for future growth, we discovered a listing for a commercial property in Łomianki, near Warsaw, on a street aptly named Pancerz 6. (English: Armor 6). After extensive negotiations, we completed the purchase in mid-2023, acquiring nearly 6,000 m² of land (with room for expansion) and approximately 2,000 m² of usable space.

This marked the beginning of a transformative new chapter for our family business. While the property initially seemed in good condition, both the grounds and buildings required significant adaptations to align with our vision, as well as a comprehensive renovation. We decided to outsource only the tasks that required specialized skills or equipment, tackling the rest ourselves. Embracing the motto “all hands on deck,” our entire team joined the effort. Each person contributed to the project in ways that matched their skills and abilities. By the end of 2024, we can proudly say that the first phase of this ambitious project is complete. Through the combined efforts of the entire Jammas family, the Jammas Shooting Center (CSJ) has come to life.

In Łomianki, the company’s headquarters, management office, and logistics center with licensed warehouses are already located. And since September 20, 2025 — with the “Grand Opening of CSJ” — we have opened our doors to customers, offering them access to the entire retail, training, and gunsmithing sections of the Jammas Shooting Center, and even the MoST-1 container shooting range.

Since 2016, we have stayed true to our mission, evolving and growing in our chosen direction. Several members of our team,  like Marlena, Robert, and Agnieszka, started with no background in shooting sports. They have grown alongside us, experiencing our journey from yacht charters to games and gadgets, and finally to shooting sports. We operate like a family, offering mutual support that goes beyond professional boundaries. Over time, we’ve welcomed new members to our team, but only those who align with our family-oriented philosophy, share our values, and are committed to building the company’s future have stayed with us.
