The Platypuses Are Back in Poland — This Time in New Configurations

It looks like platypuses have learned to fly. Another batch of Stealth Arms Platypus pistols has just landed in Poland, and this latest arrival really shows how differently Polish shooters approach the same platform.

Some of the new arrivals feature understated designs, while others are hard to miss. We have to admit, the creativity in the choice of colours and finishes is impressive.

For anyone new to the Platypus, it is an American pistol built on the foundations of the 1911 platform, but designed around modern double-stack magazines. The manufacturer offers versions compatible with Glock 17 or SIG Sauer P320 magazines, while its extensive online configurator gives customers plenty of freedom to customise the appearance of individual components.

That is why two Platypus pistols can look like entirely different projects. The latest “platypus migration” to Poland makes that point perfectly.
